Mr. David Alvin Knox's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. David Alvin Knox, 78, of Highland Home, Alabama, will be Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. Josh Sammons will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Knox passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. He was born on June 24, 1943 in Moultrie, Georgia to Leonard S. Knox and Vera Barnwell Knox. Mr. Knox was a retired machinist and a United States Navy Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodcarving, and watching wrestling.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Deborah Cheryl Knox; son, David William Knox; grandchildren, Jamie Knox, Elizabeth Knox, Kayla Knox, Jeremy Knox; great-grandchild, Easton Knox; and brother, Wayne Knox.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Calvin Knox; parents; brother, Curtis Knox; and sister, Mary Sue Hood.
