David Cotney's Obituary
Mr. David Eugene Cotney, 53, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his residence. He was born on April 18, 1970 in Alexander City, Alabama to Wayne Cotney and Patricia Milner Cotney. He was a good friend to those who knew him. David was extremely intelligent. He had many interests. David liked to work with his hands. He loved his family and devoted much of his time to his daughter. David never met a stranger and could tell stories all day long.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarinda Cotney; wife, Taffani Harrell both of McAllen, TX; brothers, Mitchell Cotney of Jacksons Gap, Steve (Cassandra) Cotney of Wadley, James Wayne Sanders (Kathryn) of Hanford, CA, Edward Cotney (Laura) of Sacramento, CA; sister, Debbie Bennett (Butch) of Clermont, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dawne Sanders White.
