Mrs. Darlene "Nana" Rountree's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mrs. Darlene "Nana" Rountree, 88, of Alexander City, will be Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Ray Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Jones will officiate.
Mrs. Rountree passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Russell Medical Center. She was born on March 24, 1934 in to Ernest Huffstutler and Vernon Wells Huffstutler. She enjoyed fishing and reading. Darlene was an avid yard seller. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Mike Griffin (wife, Shirley) and Terry Thomas Triplett (wife, Sandra) both of Alexander City and Tim Triplett of FL; grandchildren, Ben Triplett, Kaitlyne Triplett, and Charlie Partain; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Sutton; sister-in-law, Alice Huffstutler, and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.
