Graveside Service for Daniel Ryan Kelly, 40, of Alexander City, Alabama will be Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 2:30 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park. Minister Brendan Chance will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Daniel passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham from complications of COVID-19. He was born on June 12, 1980 in Merritt Island, Florida to Marion Frank Kelly and Linda Austin Kelly. Daniel loved his family dearly, especially his daughter. Daniel graduated from Benjamin Russell High School in 1998. He was a member of Alex City Church of Christ. Daniel enjoyed music, fishing, camping, hiking, and playing disc golf. He also loved Chinese food, Olive Garden, shopping, and being with people.
He is survived by his daughter, Payton Powell (Nee Kelly); mother, Linda Austin; father, Marion Frank Kelly (Linda); sister, Amy Kelly-Hill; brother, Lee Kelly and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
