I was saddened but rejoicing when I received word of Dana's Home-going. Saddened because I had just texted her in response to a prayer request she had about her health. She also shared the joy she had, looking forward to life with her future husband and his little daughter. Dana had been a part of T-Jo's Prayer Team on-line for many years and we all shared Jesus, so we were sisters in Christ. Dana loved the Lord, and I know in my heart that, while Asbury College and the world are in a revival here on earth, praising God for who He is, she is now praising God in heaven with all believers who have gone before her. Yet, I can also relate to the sorrow Dana's family is experiencing at their loss. My sympathy to all the family and friends. It is my prayer that God will hold each of you in His arms in your grief and as you say your earthly goodbye to Dana. Jesus understands your sorrow. Although Jesus knew He would raise Lazareth from the dead, He wept when He heard he had died. I pray for God's peace that passes all understanding will flow over you. May the Lord's love, grace and mercy be on all of you in the next days, as well as the months ahead as you adjust to life with memories to give you comfort. Connie ([email protected])
