Mrs. Cynthia Dianne Lilly's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mrs. Cynthia Dianne Lilly, 64, of Alexander City, Alabama will be Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson and Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Dianne passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Jackson Hospital. She was born on October 20, 1958 in Alexander City, Alabama to Charles McAlister and Jeanette Denham McAlister. Dianne loved her family dearly. She was a member of Flint Hill Church. She devoted her working career of 37 years being a RN in the ICU Cardiovascular Unit at Russell Medical where she loved to train new nurses and later became the House Supervisor. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Pensacola Beach, Gatlinburg, Stone Mountain and many other places. She also enjoyed gardening and working in the yard, and bird watching. Dianne had a special love for animals and taking care of her chickens.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John K. Lilly; son, Jonathan Brian Lilly; sister-in law, Kathy Lilly; brother-in-law; David Lilly and Chris Lilly; nieces, Trisha Baker (Roy), Karen Ward, Christol Jacobs (Wally); nephew, Anthony East (Gail); special friends, Jair Hernandez, Katelin Hernandez, Judy Harris; and her beloved cat, Percy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard McAlister; sister-in-law, Paula Burton; and great niece, Nikki Baker.
