Mrs. Clara Mae Henley's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Clara Mae Henley, 87, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Friday, February 10, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Donnie Blackmon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kellyton Memory Garden. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henley passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at her residence. She was born on January 19, 1930 in Marble Valley, Alabama to Charles Robinson and Fannie Ollie Honeycutt Robinson. She was a member of Kellyton Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, country music, and dancing. Mrs. Henley lived for her family and loved to be with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Henley (Wendy) of Alexander City; daughters, Earlene Coffey (Ted) of Hanceville, Nellie Whitson of Springville; daughters-in-law, Lavada Henley of Jacksonville, FL, Jeanette Henley of Alexander City, and Reba Henley of Opelika; 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vonnie Henley; sons, Fletcher Earl Henley, Carl McCary Henley, Wesley Lee Vonnie Henley, Horace Henley, and F.L. Henley; daughter, Viola Henley; daughter-in-law, Sarah Frances Henley; her parents; sister, Carrie Lee Robinson; and brothers, Bobby Gene Robinson and Charles Robinson.
The family would like to thank Russell Medical, Chapman Healthcare, and Lake Martin Hospice for all their loving care.
