My husband Bobby Welch mentioned Lewis often and recalled how successful he had become. Lewis was a few years older but Bobby admired the life that Lewis had lived. May he Rest In Peace.

I have worked for Mr. Scarbrough for almost 14 years as the office manager at Scarbrough Park Offices in Huntsville Alabama. Until recent years we had many conversations by phone. He would call not just for business but also to chat about his many projects and interests. Sometimes he would drive up to Huntsville to visit family or an old friend and stop by the office to check on things. He always had stories to tell or tried to "teach" me how to do this or that mechanical issue that might need fixing at the moment. To which I could only node blankly not understanding a word. He always had an interesting story to tell and often made me laugh. He definitely was a very unique and special person. I will miss him.
