Mrs. Carrie Leigh Hudson's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mrs. Carrie Leigh Hudson, 44, of Dadeville, will be Monday, December 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Alexander City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hudson passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center South. She was born on September 7, 1977 in Alexander City, Alabama to Grover Oliver and Lisa Stroud Rehr. Carrie worked as a receptionist at Lake Martin Family Medicine for many years. She enjoyed shopping, coloring, putting together jigsaw puzzles and going to the beach. She was a wonderful caregiver to her family and she will be greatly missed.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Matthew Hudson; daughter, Stephanie Nicole Hudson (Nick Henderson); sons, Shawn Bradley Hudson and James Tyler Hudson; grandchildren, Bryson Clay Jones and Corbin Henderson; mother, Lisa Rehr (Jimmy); and her siblings, Dale Oliver (Bridget), Michael Oliver (Elana), Sheila Hendon (Jeff), Tisha Milam (Jamie), Eric Rehr (Haley), Rita Plott (Drew), Ann Rehr and Wendy Yates.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grover Oliver; and grandparents, Louise Bailey and Jean and Dorris Stroud.
