Mrs. Carolyn Culver Jackson's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mrs. Carolyn Culver Jackson, 70, of Goodwater, will be Monday, November 8, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Thornton will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jackson passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Russell Medical. She was born on July 5, 1951 in Rockford, Alabama to Theron Culver and Opal Smith Culver. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and worked for several years as a courier for Southtrust Bank. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping at Walmart and tending to her cats. Mrs. Jackson’s life centered around her family, and she dearly loved them all. They all enjoyed her wonderful spaghetti suppers.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald G. Jackson of Goodwater; daughter, Donna Horn (Scott) of Goodwater; and son, Jeremy Jackson (Wendy Shuler) of Goodwater; grandchildren, Colton Jackson, Dawson Horn, and Kaylei Horn; sisters Shelia Pody and Tanny Braddy (Bill); and a host of special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Endress and Shirley Brown; and brother, George Campbell.
The family requests no flowers but memorial contributions may be made to any local animal shelter.
