Ms. Carolyn Hallmon's Obituary
Funeral Service for Ms. Carolyn Hallmon, 63, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Mikey Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Ms. Hallmon passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Russell Medical. She was born on August 31, 1961 in Alexander City, Alabama to William "Nub" Hallmon and Mary Estell Simmons Hallmon. Carolyn enjoyed playing rook, checkers and dominos. She enjoyed watching Hallmark and Christmas movies. She also enjoyed watching the Grand Ole Opry every Saturday night. She loved her family very much, especially being a “Maw-Maw” to her grandchildren. Carolyn was happiest when she was with her family, a Dr. Pepper and raisin crème pie in her hand, or when she was listening to Colby Maddox sing and play his guitar.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Stella (Jerry Davis) Hallmon and Carol Simpson; grandchildren, Emmie Hallmon, James "Jack" Whiteard, Jasmine Whiteard, Arizona Davis, and Hank Whiteard; brother, Frank "Bug" Ingram; sister, Reba (Jim) Wesson; former spouse, James David Simpson; and a host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, William "Nub" Hallmon; mother, Mary Estell Simmons Hallmon; brother, Edison Eugene Hallmon; granddaughter, McKayla Hope Hallmon; and her significant other, Emmett Woodfin.
