Mrs. Carol G. Hearn's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Carol G. Hearn, 79, of Alexander City, will be Sunday, October 9, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Hillview Memorial Park. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hearn passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was born on June 4, 1943, in Talladega County, Alabama to Edward Esine Grogan and Laverne Brown Grogan. Carol was a devout Christian lady who loved serving others alongside her husband, Rev. Rusty. She loved sharing her faith and singing at church. She was an amazing cook, decorator, and loved to entertain family and friends. She was also an avid gardener and spent countless hours growing beautiful flowers.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Suppa, T. Leigh Hearn-Rushton (Harold), Kristy Cerro (David); stepdaughter, Dana Wireman; stepson, Charles Hearn Jr. (Donna); grandchildren, Zach Bush (John), Luke Colley, Ryan Suppa, Landon Cerro, Caroline Cerro, Sophia Cerro, Andie Marie Suddarth, Carson Wireman, Tyler Scott, Chase Fuller, Matthew Rushton and Elisabeth Angel (Juan); brothers, Carlton Grogan (Peggy), Jesse Grogan (Faye), Jimmy Grogan; sister, Margene Bruce; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles "Rusty" Creighton Hearn, Sr.; son, Ken Wall; parents; grandson, Logan Suddarth; brothers, Bloice and Dwight Grogan; brother-in-law, Hulon Bruce and sister-in-law, Lynn Grogan.
