Mr. Carl Frank Johns' Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Carl Frank Johns, 66, of Goodwater, Alabama, will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Green and Rev. Chris Crumbley will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 30, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Carl passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2022, surrounded by his family at his residence. He was born on February 22, 1956, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Franklin Johns and Margie Mask Johns. He was an active member of New Providence Baptist Church. Carl was a loving, caring and supportive family man who loved God and his family dearly. His grandchildren were the light in his eye, and he enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid Alabama football fan, he enjoyed fishing and eating at Ed’s deli in Goodwater. Carl and Mike spent countless hours shooting bull and drinking coffee.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beth Johns of Goodwater; daughter, Carla Bullard of Alexander City; sons, Frank Johns (Ami) of Alexander City, Jay Johns (Alison) of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Carter Bullard, Emersyn Bullard, Presley Johns, Addie Johns; brothers, Jeff Johns (Tammy), Jimmy Johns (Tamara) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gloria Carter.
