Mr. Carl William Angle's Obituary
Funeral service for Carl William Angle, 85, of Kellyton, will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Jeremy Beard will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Angle passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Russell Medical Center. He was born on January 5, 1930 in Calhoun County, Alabama to Willie Dewey Angle and Emily Mitchell Angle. He worked for over 35 years for Robinson Foundry and retired in 1995 as a supervisor. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed traveling, four wheeling, and camping. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by his daughters, Janice Denney (Jimmy), of Alexander City, Diane Mehlos (Fred), of Santa Rosa Beach, and Vickie Peters (Jerrell), of Hackneyville; sons, William Angle (Carol), of Anniston, Roger Angle (Debbie), of Goodwater, and Carl E Angle (Kim), of Kellyton; 12 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; and brother, David Angle of West Point, MS.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Era Mae Patterson Angle; his parents; sisters, Mary Lou Allen, Doris Vaughn, and Sally Bright; and brother, James Angles.
The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
