Mrs. Wallace passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at University of Alabama Hospital (Birmingham). She was born on September 27, 1961, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Billy Gene Patterson and Ila Mae Merrell Patterson. She was a member of Candler Mountain Baptist Church. Cara was a God loving woman who cared for her family deeply. She adored spending time with her grandchildren and eating out with her family. Her hobbies included traveling, boating, and watching her hummingbird’s feed. She collected windchimes and loved listening to the wonderful music they made and had a passion for lighthouses.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Kenneth Dale Wallace; children, Timothy Thornton (Mary), Harvey Wallace (Jennifer), Dee Dee Nelson (Allen), Kayla Shirley, Larry Wallace (Sheyanne), Amber Parrish (Mikey); grandchildren, Tyler Lee, Lorionna Lee, Sam Wallace, Taylor Parrish, Kelsey Wallace, Jerimiah Wages, Ben Wix, Caulton Kenney, Layla Cockerham, Ragen Browning, James Wix, Jacob Nelson, Noah Kenney, Eli Browning, Lucas Nelson, Tommy Wallace, Aubree Wallace, Finnley Parrish; nephew, Jesse Patterson (Jana) and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lola Lee; brother, Valance Patterson and stepson, Daniel Kelley.
