Funeral service for Mr. Byron Thomas Tucker, 57, of Alexander City, will be Friday, October 3, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Faith Temple. Pastor Dick Stark will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. \r\n\r\nMr. Tucker passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at his residence. He was born on February 15, 1957 in Alexander City, Alabama to Hubert Allen Tucker and Luna Dell Brown Tucker. He was an active member of Faith Temple. Mr. Tucker loved his family very much and made sure they knew how much he cared. He worked as a salesperson at Thomas Auto Parts and Tallapoosa Ford. Mr. Tucker loved Jesus, was a hard worker, enjoyed helping others, and always smiled. He also enjoyed riding horses, playing golf and other outdoor activities. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his daughter, Mindy O'Brien (Patrick), of Lubbock, TX; grandchild, Patrick O'Brien; sister, Teresa Henry (Wes), of Alexander City; brother, Perry Allen Tucker of Florence; nephews, David Ashworth, Shane Ashworth, and Ryan Ashworth; and nieces, Joy Ingram and Jana Tucker.\r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents.\r\n\r\nThe family will accept flowers, but prefers that memorial contributions be made to "The Shed", 501 Peace Church Road, Wetumpka, AL 36093, or online at theshedinc.org.
