On March 18, 1960, he married the love of his life, Wilda Faye, and began building their future together.
Bobby Joe was known for his caring heart and the way he put others before himself. He would never fail to send you off with a gentle, "Be careful!" Bobby Joe enjoyed working on old trucks with his son, Shane, right beside him. He absolutely loved kids, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who affectionately knew him as "Paw Paw" and "Joe Joe."
