Mrs. Bobbie Joyce Peterson's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Bobbie Joyce Peterson, 83, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Faith Temple. Pastor Dick Stark will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Faith Temple.
Mrs. Peterson passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at her residence. She was born on July 20, 1939 in Holmes County, Florida to Buck Thomas Harrell and Pearlie Lee Hudson Harrell. She was a member of Faith Temple. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and taught Sunday School for many years. She was a dedicated reader and had read through the Bible 39 times. She was a very wise, but sassy lady and loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Lankford (Jerry) of Jacksons Gap, Laura Adams (Steve) of Alexander City, Lisa Whitman of Alexander City, and Jeanne Peterson of Jacksons Gap; grandchildren, Cameron Lankford (Pamela), Kasi Lamberth (Hank), Brittany Tapley (Matt), Kelley White (Jeremy), Zac Adams, and Hannah Denney (Greg); great-grandchildren, Drew Weldon, Halaina White, Henry Lamberth, Matilyn Tapley, Parker White, Annabelle Lankford, Urijah Tapley, Maxwell Lamberth, Holland Lankford, Bain White, and Molly Lamberth; sister, Ann Landers (Jimmie C.) of Holmes County, FL; and brother, Michael Harrell of Panama City, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Eugene Peterson; brothers, Cecil Harrell and (Infant) William Thomas Harrell; and sister, Ouida Ernst.
