Mrs. Bobbie Jean Corley's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Bobbie Jean Corley, 91, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be, Monday, May 15, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Socopatoy Cemetery. Rev. Josh Hickman will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Socopatoy Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Jean Corley passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Chapman Healthcare Center. She was born on March 18, 1932, in Alexander City, Alabama to R. Chester Funderburk and Irma M. Solley Funderburk. She was a member of Socopatoy Presbyterian Church. She was a very loving mother and wife and cared deeply for her family. She enjoyed growing up with her cousins, loved cooking for her family and friends, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Frank Corley (Susan) of Greenville, AL; daughters, Carolyn Littmann (Jim) and Linda Fields (Brad) of Jackson’s Gap, AL; grandchildren Scott Corley (Emily) of Little Rock, AR, Tim Littmann (Julia) of Auburn, AL, Will Corley of Birmingham, AL, Laura Fields (fiancé Drew Griggs) of Auburn, AL and great-grandchildren, Henry and Callie Corley of Little Rock, AR.
She was preceded in death by parents and husband of 47 years, James Leon Corley.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff of Chapman’s Healthcare Center for their wonderful, loving care of Mrs. Corley.
