Beverly Angela Harris' Obituary
Mrs. Beverly Angela Harris passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Chapman's Healthcare at the age of 62. She was born on November 20, 1961 in Alexander City, Alabama to Billy Floyd and Shirley Comer McHargue. Beverly was a member of Kellyton First Global Methodist Church.
Her life was filled with color just like the artwork she enjoyed creating. In her spare time, Beverly could be found drawing, coloring, and painting ceramics or other figurines. She was a kind woman with a big and soft heart for the ones that she loved, especially her nieces and nephews whom she spoiled. Beverly was married to her best friend, James, and painted his life with colorful strokes of warmth, affection, and adoration. She was a loving wife, sister, and aunt who will greatly miss her artistic spirit.
Beverly is survived by her husband, James Harris; daughter, Meredith Hillyer; granddaughter, Breanna Hillyer; great-grandson, Mason Hillyer; sisters, Dawn Culp, Delisa Burch, Lisa Floyd; brother, Gordon McCarty; nephews, Joseph Simmons, Jason Kelley; nieces, Mindy Bradford, Jami (Colin) Cureton, Kember Carpenter, Brooke Baker, Ashley (James) Blake, and Mika Bradford.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley McHargue; father, Billy Floyd; sisters, Teresa Carpenter, Candace Simmons; and stepfather, Sonny McHargue.
The family wants to say thank you to Chapman's Healthcare-Beverly loved everyone there and was always treated with love and kindness by those working and residing there.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
