Betty Joyce Price's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Betty Joyce Price, 90, of Kellyton, Alabama, will be Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Alexander City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Price passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Russell Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 1, 1934 to Samuel Newton Jones and Burner Etola Stone Jones. She was a wonderful cook, specializing in her homemade bread and pound cake. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always put others first and truly had a servant's heart. Betty was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Glynn (Patsy) Price of Alexander City, Lynn (Miana) Price of Kellyton, and Cary (Katrina) Price of Bakersfield, CA; special niece, Wanda T. (Don) Lamoureux of Kellyton; brother-in-law, A.J. Price of Alexander City; sister-in-law, Jean Patten of Gulf Breeze, FL; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Billy" Henry Price; sisters, Audrice Jones, Mary Loyce Jones, and Audrey Turner.
