Funeral Service for Mrs. Betty V. Gordon, 89, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Monday, April 4, 2022, at 12:00 pm at the Alex City Methodist Church. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. She will lie in state at the Church for one Read Obituary
I had Mrs.Gordon as a teacher. I really enjoyed her class and I have great memories of her and learned so much. She was a very talented and patient lady. I would like to send my condolences to all the family. I know she will surely be missed by many.
Mrs Gordon was a patient of mine and she was a humble and pleasant Angel here on earth from day one of working with her, and she was the same way until she left us and became an Angel in Heaven. I love you still Mrs Betty and hope to see you in Heaven one day.

Betty was a sweet, kind lady. She will be greatly missed. To all who loved her, I want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May you be comforted by God's presence in the days ahead. Betty became a dear friend while we both were teaching at the middle school. I was new to Alex City then, and she made me feel so welcomed. Praying for sweet memories for the family.
