Mrs. Blythe has always had a special place in my heart. Her demeanor was always sweet and loving. She always had a smile anytime I saw her, and willing to help in any way possible. She was fairly strict, and expected everyone to behave (do the right thing) and show respect. These were automatic characteristics for some, and others had to be taught. Overall, she will be remembered as a special part of my life, especially at New Site.
Several months ago, I saw her at the nursing home, and ask her, “Who in the world was “holding down/taking care” of New Site while she was wasn’t there”? She just snickered and said she didn’t know, but was sure someone was... I then told her she must hurry and get well, so she could get back up there and take over. She snickered again. ☺️
To the family, I am so sorry for your broken hearts, as I know you miss her (and have for a while now). May you take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering, and can breathe normally again! We shall she her again one day soon! God bless you all!
