Mrs. Betsy Milner Reeder's Obituary
Visitation for Mrs. Betsy Milner Reeder, 62, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Betsy Milner Reeder, a loving, thoughtful, and spirited Christian woman, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at her residence.
Mrs. Reeder was born on November 6, 1963, in Alexander City, Alabama, to Ezra Earl Milner and Dorothy Burchfield Milner. She attended Dadeville High School and carried the values of hard work, kindness, and devotion throughout her life. Those who knew her will remember her warm heart, her steady presence, and the gentle way she cared for the people around her.
For more than 30 years, Mrs. Reeder worked in professional cleaning on Lake Martin, where she built a respected reputation for her dedication and strong work ethic. She also worked for several construction companies, performing new construction cleaning with the same care and attention that marked every part of her life. Her work reflected her dependable nature and her pride in doing every task well.
Mrs. Reeder was a faithful Christian whose life was grounded in love for her family and appreciation for the simple joys of each day. She especially enjoyed spending time on Lake Martin fishing, where she found peace and happiness in the beauty of the water and the quiet moments it offered. She was also an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan and loved watching Wheel of Fortune. Above all, her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Milner; her sons, Justin Reeder and his wife Jennifer, and William Chase Reeder; her grandchildren, John Farrel Adamson Jr., Mason Cade Stapleton, Sierra Cheyenne Reeder, Chastyn Jax Reeder, Landon Corley, Janson Hendrix, and Cooper Kelley; her brothers, Eddie Milner and his wife Cheryl, Rex Milner and his wife Debbie, and Howard Milner; step-brothers, Steve and Marty Hall; her niece, Keshia Eades and her husband Kyle; and numerous family members and friends who will cherish her memory and the love she shared so freely.
Mrs. Reeder was preceded in death by her father, Ezra Earl Milner and her late husband, Willie Reeder. Their memory remained a part of her life.
Betsy Milner Reeder will be remembered for her loving spirit, her thoughtful nature, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her family and friends will forever hold close the many memories of her kindness, her strength, and her devotion to those she loved. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of love and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
