A Graveside Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Beth Blankenship Campbell, 70, of Shalimar, Florida will be held at Hillview Memorial Park on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 am with Mr. Rodney Blankenship officiating.
Beth Campbell passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at her residence in Florida. Born in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, on November 10, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Reuben Blankenship and Ruth McDaniel Spraggins. Amongst her siblings, it was well known that Beth was their mother's favorite. She was born with a tenacious spirit and unique optimism. Beth was an intelligent person who believed in helping other people. She graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Liberal Studies. The knowledge gained through school led her to serving as the Court Administrator for the State of Florida Judicial System until her retirement. Beth was believed in treating everyone fairly and that kindness could be seen through her extensive volunteer work through church groups, political campaigning, and women's groups.
In her spare time, Beth enjoyed the slower pace in gardening flowers and vegetables, traveling to local towns, or just relaxing by the water. Community was important so the neighborhood get-togethers were ones she enjoyed greatly. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her fur-baby, Bear, providing her with 9 years of puppy love. Beth stood tall in life, wasn't afraid to speak her mind, and was very strong-willed. Her desire to help others with compassion and resilience led her to many successes in employment, relationships, and successes.
Beth is survived by her loving husband, Tony Campbell; fur-baby, Bear; sister, Lila (Robert) Forbus; stepsons, Jason (Angela) Campbell, Joe (Shanna) Campbell; cousins, Rodney (Kathi) Blankenship, Debra K. Jones, Peggy Blankenship (Rich) Lang ; nephew, Brandon (Joy) Stewart; niece, Brandi (Tyler) Griggs, Dr. Mandy (David) Sepulveda; and several other aunts, uncles, & cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother, Jimmy Blankenship, and sister, Patsy Blankenship.
Radney Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Beth Campbell.
