Mrs. Barbara Ann Daugherty Hutcherson's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Barbara Ann Daugherty Hutcherson, 77, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. John Watkins, Rev. Phillip Gibson and Dr. Rick Worthy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hutcherson passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at her residence. She was born on April 21, 1945 in Delta, Alabama to Pascal Daugherty and Hattie Collier Daugherty. She was an active member of Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Barbara loved singing and listening to southern gospel music. She loved flowers and enjoyed making floral arrangements. She also enjoyed walking her dog, Hallie, being in the sun and trips to the beach. She was a wonderful caregiver to her brother, Phillip Dale Daugherty. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Danny L. Hutcherson; daughter, Lynn Kizziah (Daryl); son, Rocky Blackburn (Jane); step-son, Daniel Hutcherson, Jr.; grandchildren, Chris Giddens (Kelly), Baylie Payne (Jeffrey), Justin Blackburn, Jacob Blackburn, Trey Hutcherson and Leah Hutcherson; and brothers, Junior Daugherty (Barbara) and Phillip Dale Daugherty
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sharon McCoy.
Sanctuary of New Beginnings, formerly known as Kellyton Revival Center, at 2013 County Rd 87 Kellyton, AL 35089 will be feeding the family after the graveside service.
