Mrs. Audrey Catherine McCook's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Audrey Catherine McCook, 89, of Goodwater, will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Mitchell and Mr. Donald McCook will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive First Baptist Cemetery in Coosa County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Audrey passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center in Sylacauga. She was born on December 15, 1933 in Queens, NY to Cooper Siner and Ruth Schultz Siner Kelley. She was a strong, courageous woman. Audrey loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a very kind and compassionate person.
She is survived by her daughters, Nikki Shaw of Goodwater, Dana Morgan (Stephen) of Lineville, and Jessica McCook of Munford; sons, Guy McCook (Kristen) of Fredericksburg, VA, Ralph Viafora (Nerissa) of Stanley, VA, and Matthew Jennings (Nicole) of Goodwater; grandchildren, Scott W. McCook, Sr., Lisa Martinez (Joe), Donald McCook (Abigail), Micheal McCook (Cherilyn), Cristofer Sparks (Ashley), Gregory Welcher, Jacob Peters, Lucas Peters, and Jasmine Jennings; great-grandchildren, Scott W. McCook, Jr. and Blake Osgood, many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Joanne Westerlund (Robert) of Miller Place, NY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Hugh McCook; sons, Scott Alan McCook and Daniel Carl McCook; grandchildren, Keith McCook and Samantha McCook; sister, Kathleen "Kate" Cantone; and brother, Dennis Kelley.
