As a young man, Artie enjoyed music, especially songs by Neil Diamond and cruising on his BSA motorcycle. He treasured and had a great love for his many dogs which brought him much joy and happiness. Art was a huge Auburn Tigers fan and spent many weekends with Sherlita cheering them on.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 22 years, Sherlita Diaz Stringer; mother-in-law, Estelita Diaz; and their extended family in the Philippines; three sisters, Judith Pellerin, Sally Elkins, Nancy Fiske; son, Brian; daughter, Katie, three granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
Artie will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
