Mr. Arnold Abrams' Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Arnold "Abe" Abrams, 80, of Sylacauga, will be Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Bay Pine Baptist Church. Rev. Andrew Collum will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bay Pine Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Bay Pine Baptist Church.
Mr. Abrams passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 at his residence. He was born on October 26, 1944 in Sylacauga, Alabama to A.V. Abrams and Essie Arnold Abrams. Abe graduated from Sylacauga High School as Valedictorian of his class and served as Senior Class President. He played baseball in his youth and ended up playing for Auburn University. Abe worked as a General Contractor for many years, retiring from Farr Construction in Sylacauga.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Abrams of Sylacauga; sons, Arnold Dennis (Tricia) Abrams of Rockford and William Dustin Sims of Sylacauga; daughter, Shannon White of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Wade Abrams, Steven (Shania) Abrams, Katie (Austin) Gallups, David Curtis, Destiny (Eric) Abshire, Micah Abrams, and Liam White; great-grandchild, Sora Abshire; aunt, Annie Mae Johns; uncle, Frank Arnold; and cousin, Ricky Johns.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
