Mrs. Annie Lois Morgan's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Annie Lois Morgan, 88, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Monday, May 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Hatchet Creek Presbyterian Church. Rev. Jimmy Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Brownville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Hatchet Creek Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Morgan passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at her residence. She was born on May 18, 1932 in Clay County, Alabama to Raymond Walters and Ethel Walters. Mrs. Morgan loved her family dearly. She loved working for Russell Corporation and Chapman’s Healthcare. Mrs. Morgan was the last surviving member of Hatchet Creek Presbyterian Church. She also enjoyed traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains.
She is survived by her sons, Gristle Morgan, Jr. (Irene), James Morgan (Karen Ann), Billy Morgan (Janith), Roger Dale Morgan (Kathryn), Stephen Morgan (Dana), and Joseph Morgan (April); twenty-five Grandchildren; fifty-eight great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; daughter in law, Rebecca Morgan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gristle Morgan, Sr.; son, Donnie Morgan; grandson, Christopher Lee Morgan; granddaughter, Brenda Morgan; great grandson, William Corey Ashworth; great great granddaughter, Olivia Morgan; parents; and brother, Cecil Walters.
