Mrs. Annie Ruth McManus' Obituary
Funeral service for Mrs. Annie Ruth McManus, 74, of Alexander City, will be Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service at Radney Funeral Home. \r\n\r\nMrs. McManus passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Brown Nursing Home. She was born on April 17, 1936 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Woodrow Cleveland and Vera Thomas Cleveland. She was a member of New Elkahatchee Baptist Church and kept children in her home for many years. Mrs. McManus was a good cook and enjoyed working in her yard and keeping children. \r\n\r\nShe is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles McManus of Alexander City; daughter, Kathy Ann Smith (Billy) of Salem, SC; son, John Earl Stroud (Martha) of Alexander City; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ila Mae Scott and brother, James Cleveland.
