Mrs. Andrea Marie Stewart-Adams' Obituary
Andrea, a loving wife, proud mother, adoring “Honey”, and dedicated healthcare professional, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and deep family devotion. Andrea also had a lifelong love of animals. Over the years her home was filled with her adorable dogs, especially her precious Wilson. She also adored her cat, Gibbs who brought her comfort and joy.
Born in Athol, Massachusetts, to Bernard and Helen (Randall) Kinsella, Andrea grew up with a strong sense of service and care for others.
She pursued her passion for nursing by earning her diploma in Nursing from Burbank Hospital School of Nursing in Fitchburg, Massachusetts in 1982. She completed her education graduating magna cum laude from Fitchburg State College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
In 1995, she achieved her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Florida in Gainesville, becoming a certified Nurse Practitioner in Adult Health. Her career in nursing was a true calling that touched countless lives.
Andrea was the beloved wife of Michael A. Adams. Together, they enjoyed and deeply loved their blended family.
She was the cherished mother of James M. Kinsella IV and his wife Jacqueline (Stader) of Townsend, Montana, and Jonathan P. Kinsella and his wife Laurie (Huntting) of Seminole, Florida.
She was also a devoted stepmother to Jenny Adams Harvey and her husband Tyrone Harvey of Orlando, and to Tristan M. Adams of Maitland, Florida.
Her love and pride extended to her grandchildren who called her “Honey”: Jade Marie, James Michael V, Jillian Madison, and Jaelyn Murphy (children of James and Jacqueline); Christian Paul, Lucas Rance, Alannah Grace, and Mark Ryan (children of Jonathan and Laurie); Jada (child of Jenny and Tyrone). Each of them brought joy to her heart.
Andrea is also survived by her sister Laura Goonan, her brother-in-law, John Goonan and niece Jennifer Goonan.
Andrea will be remembered for her generous spirit, steadfast dedication to others, and the deep love she held for her family. In her final days she put her trust in Jesus as her Savior and declared her belief in Him. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
A celebration of life will be held in Andrea's honor from 1pm to 3pm, Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Bridgepoint Church, located at 12601 Park Boulevard N., Seminole, Florida 33776.
