Mrs. Amelia Faye Schwind's Obituary
Mrs. Amelia Faye Schwind, age 78 of Bremen, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, at a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Born on November 12, 1946, in Alexander City, Alabama, Faye was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel Clarence Pasley and Lola Rachel Slaughter Pasley. Known affectionately to her family and friends as "Faye," she lived a life filled with love, warmth and devotion.
Faye shared a beautiful life with her late husband, Bobby Eugene Schwind. Together, they built a legacy grounded in love, family, and faith. Her greatest joy came from being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, Trudy Saxon (Joel) of Bremen, GA, and Tracy Morris of Kinston, NC. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Brandon Saxon, Kristen Wynn (William), Amber Keleon, and Danna Morris, and a cherished great-grandmother to Savannah Wynn and Dawson Wynn. Faye also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
Faye's faith was the foundation of her life. She loved the Lord deeply and lived out her beliefs through her kindness and generosity. She enjoyed camping and traveling, especially trips to the beach and the mountains. She had a special love for flowers and was known for her green thumb, keeping both her home and garden filled with beauty. Yard sales were one of her favorite pastimes, and she never passed up a sweet treat - ice cream was her guilty pleasure.
Affectionately known as "MeeMaw," Faye was the heart of her family. She was hardworking, caring, and had a way of making everyone feel loved and welcome. Her gentle spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering support will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
