Alma Davis Parrott's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Alma Davis Parrott, 82, of Tallassee, will be Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11:00 am at Prospect Baptist Church. Dr. Wayne Wright will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Eclectic. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Prospect Baptist Church.
Mrs. Parrott passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Tallassee Health and Rehab. She was born on August 1, 1941 in Jasper, AL to Sterlin Tolley Edwards and Flora Bell Best Edwards. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Alma retired from Russell Corporation. She loved to cook for her family and friends. Alma loved people and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Thompson (Gary) of Pike Road; sons, Steve Hart (Lisa) of Jasper, David Davis (Marti) of Prattville, Doug Davis (Cinda) of Tallassee, and Andy Davis (Tina) of Mary Esther, FL; grandchildren, Dawn Cotney (Andy), Christa Palovec (Ben), Stephen Hart, Christopher Davis, Megan Johnson (Jeff), Rachel Richardson (Anthony), Nicole Weems (Jeremy), Jeremy Davis (Christina), Ashleigh Hughes (Brandon), Whitney Abrams (Bradley), and Hayden Davis; 23 great grandchildren; brothers, Glen Edwards and Phillip Edwards (Ruth); sisters-in-law, Bonnie Edwards, Yolanda Davis, and Joyce Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Davis; husband, Bobby Parrott; sisters, Betty Sue Willis, Myrtle Whitfield, and Janice Edwards; brothers, Tom Edwards and Larry Edwards.
