I would like to give my condolences to your family. Loosing someone in death seems so unfair and difficult to bear. The Bible gives real comfort by giving us the promise of seeing him and all those we have lost to death again in the future right here on paradise earth enjoying perfect health. This is confirmed at Psalms 37:9-11, 29 & Rev. 21:3,4.
Brandie, my heart is broken for you and your family. Please know that your Chapman Healthcare family love you and we are here for you.
I pray God's peace, a peace that surpasses ALL understanding, comforts you during this difficult time.
If you need anything, I am here...
Love in Christ,
Leah Warren

On behalf Petty Officer Rowe and all of the cadets in the Benjamin Russell High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) I extend our deepest condolences and prayers of sympathy to the family, friends, and classmates of Cadet Alex Dean.
Alex was an outstanding leader, gracious mentor, loyal friend, and a stand-out role model to all of the cadets in the NJROTC. His infectious smile, quick wit, unmatched work ethic, and often unbridled enthusiasm made Alex one of the most impactful leaders in the NJROTC program. He will be sorely missed, but his impact will long remain with the many cadets he called his friends and with which he served the both his high school and community.
To say that Alex excelled in the BRHS NJROTC program would be an understatement. As a three-year member of the unit Alex was hand-selected from his peers to serve on the BRHS NJROTC leadership staff as the Cadet Armorer, responsible for thousands of dollars’ worth of unit ceremonial weapons and Air Rifle Marksmanship Team equipment. Alex willingly accepted this responsibility and continually impressed his fellow cadets and instructors with his diligence and attention to detail. Alex was additionally chosen to serve as the Unit Guideon Bearer due to his reputation as one of the most outstanding and involved members of the unit. Whenever we marched as a platoon in local parades Alex was appropriately in the front leading and guiding all of his fellow cadets. Alex also represented the BRHS NJROTC Unit as a member of the Air Rifle Marksmanship Team and the Orienteering Team. Equally comfortable with an air rifle or compass in his hand, Alex was often seen graciously sharing his skills and experience with junior cadets.
Our heartfelt condolences to his all of his family, friends, and classmates. We will greatly miss Alex and his impact in the NJROTC program. We will treasure the many great memories of experiences shared with Alex. As an NJROTC unit we will rededicate ourselves to maintaining both the high performance standard Alex set and the enthusiasm he shared with all.
