My prayers and thoughts are with the family and friends. It has been my blessing to know Mrs. Ruth Carlisle and I will always remember her response when I ask her how she was doing. So sorry to hear about Miss Ruth. She was an exceptional woman and was such a good friend to our mother, Pauline Schrimscher. Mother loved working at Carlisle's Drug mainly because of the wonderful people who worked there. Miss Ruth will be missed.
Please accept my heartfelt condolence upon the passing of your mother/grandmother. What a gracious, wonderful lady she was. My mother, Pauline Schrimscher, worked at Carlisle Drugs for many years. Ruth was always so sweet to Mother and they developed quite a friendship which continued even after Mother came to live with me in Georgia. She and Ruth corresponded regularly and that is how Mother was able to keep up with the news from Alex City. Ruth never missed one of Mother's birthdays. I will forever cherish my memories of one of the most gracious ladies of Alex City.
