Words seem too small to express the sadness that I and my son feel with Jerry's death, I can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that he won't be calling me every 15 minutes, it would seem, finalizing plans for our trips to collect driftwood on the lake. He amazed me everyday with his humor, clever wit and phenomenal talent.
He made my life so much better simply because he was in it and I thank God for letting me get to know and love a truly genuine beautiful, generous and loving person.

To Ms. Louise and Vickie. Jerry was my classmate, a fellow athlete and forever a friend. I will always remember him and will miss him. The time we were together made us who we are.
