Funeral Service for Mrs. Geneva Peppers Lashley, 81, of Kellyton, Alabama, will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Kellyton Baptist Church. Bro. Jeff Hardy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kellyton Memory Garden. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. Mrs. Lashley will Lie in State 1 hour prior to the service at the Church.
Mrs. Lashley passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at her residence. She was born on May 10, 1937 in Alexander City, Alabama to Olen Peppers and Lillian Whatley Peppers. Mrs. Geneva loved her family dearly and loved to keep her grandchildren. She was an active member of Kellyton Baptist Church and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mrs. Geneva enjoyed gardening, flowers, quilting, taking care of others, shopping and road trips.
She is survived by her daughters, Annie Neighbors (Calvin), Libby Gates (Tom), Kattie Lashley (Louis) and Lisa Crawford (Steven); nine Grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; sister, Martha Nell Story and her brothers, Kenneth and Edward Peppers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Lashley of 60 years, parents and seven sisters and brothers.
