Billy J. Tidwell's Obituary
Graveside Service for Billy J. Tidwell, 76, of Jacksons Gap, will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park. Randy Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Tidwell passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born on May 16, 1941 in Wadley, Alabama to W. Allen Tidwell and Elma Tidwell. Upon retiring from the Federal Aviation Administration, he returned to his home town of Alexander City. He enjoyed living on Lake Martin and was an avid antique motorcycle enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Satterfield Tidwell of Jacksons Gap; son, Brad E. (Adelia) Tidwell of Newnan, GA; grandchildren, Harris Tidwell and Garrett Tidwell; sister, Kathleen (Shirley) Rhodes; and nephew, Johnny Coker.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elma Tidwell and father, W. Allen Tidwell.
