Mr. Russell Gary Daly

Funeral Service for Mr. Russell Gary Daly, 59, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Hicks and Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home. Mr. Daly passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at his residence. He was born on March 22, 1963 in Athens, Alabama to Billy L. Daly and Faye Sims Daly. Mr. Daly loved his family and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mr. Daly graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in surveying and mapping. He was the State Surveyor for the State of Florida and worked for the department for a total of 17 years afterwards he continued in that field with many independent companies. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going on trips to Brazil with Christian Missions Unlimited. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandra Jackson Daly; daughter, Georgia Leigh Daly; sisters, Jessica Laney (Arlo Kelly) and Sudie Hector (David); brothers, Jay Daly (Danielle) and Greg Brock (Kim); aunt, Martha Myers; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy L. Daly, mother, Faye S. Laney and stepfather, Ira D. Laney. Memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity in Mr. Daly’s memory.
