Graveside Service for Mrs. Peggy Blair Pritchard, 76, of Alexander City, will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Hillview Memorial Park. Mr. Eddie Black will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Radney Funeral Home. Mrs. Pritchard passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Brown Nursing Home. She was born on May 22, 1945 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to John Robert Blair and Pauline Fredonia Nix Blair. Maw Maw Peggy was a loving, giving and selfless lady. She was always doing for others first and thinking of herself last. She loved all children and ran a home daycare for many years. She enjoyed sewing, reading, baking and working in her yard. Maw Maw Peggy loved people and was a social butterfly. To know her was to love her. She was a warrior and fighter, and she fought the good fight. She was a lady of strong faith and loved the Lord. Even though she was very stubborn, she loved her family very much and they knew it. She is survived by her daughters, Candi Britton (Ken) of Alexander City and Kim Dunn of Alexander City; son, Bobby Dunn of Alexander City; grandchildren, Mitchell Smith (Briana), Heather Smith, Blair Dunn and Eric Britton (Mary Harmon); great-grandchildren, Kensley Britton, Dayton Britton, Caroline Berryman, Elizabeth Berryman, and one on the way, Kennedy Kitchens; sister, Dottie Blair (Glen Zorn) of Montgomery; best friend, Carolyn Stalls (Earle) of Alexander City. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to give special thanks to Brown Nursing Home for their amazing love and care that was extended to Maw Maw Peggy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Tallapoosa's Caring Refuge, 2036 Cherokee Road, Suite 25, Alexander City, AL 35010.
