Mrs. Mary Kelly Strickland

Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Kelly Strickland, 75, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Alexander City Church of Christ. Minister Brendan Chance and Minister Chris Tidwell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Alexander City Church of Christ building. Mrs. Strickland passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Russell Medical. She was born on November 15, 1946 in Madison County, Alabama to James Earl Kelly and Willa Dean Whitt Kelly. She was an active member of Alex City Church of Christ and loved attending Church. She worked at Russell Medical for many years as a nursing assistant in Outpatient Surgery. She previously had worked at Brown Nursing Home. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed family vacations to the mountains and the beach with them. She enjoyed shopping, facebook, watching TV, word search puzzles, and Alabama Football. She is survived by her daughters, April Turner (Billy) of Kellyton and Deanna Miller (Brian) of Goodwater; sons, Robby Strickland (Serena), Tim Strickland (Betty), Kenny Wayne Strickland (Lynn) all of Alexander City; grandchildren, Abbey Strickland (Tyler Jones), Karli Smith (Drew), Taylor Patterson (Cole), Derek Strickland, Owen Miller, Easton Turner, Payton Williams (Reid), and Dalton Hall (Hannah); great-grandchildren, Bryli Smith, Olivia Smith, Stella Kate Smith, Saige Patterson, Colson Patterson, and Canaan Jones; brothers, Frank Kelly (Linda), Charles Kelly (Mary Nell); and sisters, Tanya Schindler (Ted) and Brenda Dunham (Tim). She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnall Strickland; her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Avis and Elam Barker.
