Mr. Larry Glenn Scott

Memorial Service for Mr. Larry Glenn Scott, 78, of Alexander City, will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home. Mr. Scott passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Brown Nursing Home. He was born on March 31, 1943 in Eagle Creek to Joe Scott and Edna Lucille Patterson Scott. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Alexander City. Mr. Scott was very involved with the Alabama Emmaus Association. He was a Godly man who witnessed to everyone he had the chance to. He worked in construction his whole life. He loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Scott of Alexander City; sons, Brent Scott (Carol) of Kellyton, Kelly Scott (Kim) of Alexander City, and Hunter Scott (Jenny) of Auburn; grandchildren, Lamanda Keel (Clinton), Blake Burkhalter (Anna), Tyler Scott (Shana), Patrick Scott (Kayla), Kimber Waller (Patrick), Wes Scott, Auburn Scott, Patrick Knox, Grayson Scott, and Joshua Scott; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Annette Scott of Alexander City and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gerald Scott. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to the Alabama Emmaus Office P.O. Box 38 Cropwell, AL 35054.
