Mr. Jack Thomas Wilson

Graveside Service for Mr. Jack Thomas Wilson, 89, of Alexander City, will be Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Alexander City Cemetery. Mr. Wilson passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Chapman Healthcare Center. He was born on November 26, 1931 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Leonard Thomas Wilson and Mary Leola Yates Wilson. He joined the Air Force at the age of 17, and served three tours in Vietnam. He retired after 23 faithful years. He returned to Alexander City to help care for his family, and he worked 30 years for Russell Lands. He was always looking after his family. He loved them dearly and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his stepson, Timothy Dean; step-grandchild, Phillip Dean; sisters, Jo Walker, and Anita Crompton; nephews, Kevin Walker (Kesi), Paul Holley (Jacque), and Kenneth Troy Holley (Celeste); nieces, Dee Crumpton Dukes Russell (Melvin), and Jill Holley Keiswetter (Michael); great-niece, Skyelar Walker (Mac); and great-nephews, Luke Walker, and Ty Walker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jane Wilson; stepson; Allen Dean; parents; sisters, Nora Jean Hughes (Jerry), Elizabeth Allen (O.D.), and Peggy Holley (Don). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. All visitations and services will be held in compliance with the mandated rules from Alabama Dept of Public Health.
