Rev. Hugh Wallace Twyman Sr.

Funeral Service for Rev. Hugh Wallace Twyman Sr., 77, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Alexander City Apostolic Church. Rev. Robert Bailey, Rev. Ron Linville, Rev. Curtis Vincent, Rev. Stan Davidson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Twyman will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Rev. Twyman passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Russell Medical Center. He was born on May 10, 1944 to Landis Odis Twyman and Mary Richardson Twyman. He was a children's evangelist before planting the Alexander City Apostolic Church and pastoring there for over 35 years. He was a member of The United Pentecostal Church International. He was a former brick mason, vocational instructor, and accomplished guitarist. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and soul winning. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Twyman of Alexander City; daughter, Sheree Linville (Ron) of Macon, GA; son, Hugh Wallace Twyman, Jr. of Alexander City; grandchildren, Hugh Wallace Twyman, III of Louisville, KY, Megan Booth (Adam) of Shelbyville, KY, Tiffany Corchado (Isaac) of Forsyth, GA, Caleb Linville (Candice) of Macon, GA, Kinsley Thomas (Dylan) of Gray, GA, and Jaden Linville of Macon, GA; great-grandchildren, Mya O'Daniel, Nora Booth, Lydia Twyman, Lacie Twyman, Cameron Linville, Micah Corchado, Zachary Corchado, and Izabella Corchado; brothers, Ronnie Twyman (Carol) of IN, and Terry Twyman (Sharon) of Louisville, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents.
