Memorial Graveside Service for Mr. Howard K. Shiverdecker, 74, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 4:00 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park. Mr. Shiverdecker passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, at his residence. He was born on September 7, 1947, in Fulton, Missouri to Howard Payne Shiverdecker and Ruby Mae Meyers Shiverdecker. Howard was a very athletic man who enjoyed playing baseball and softball, fishing, bowling, archery, and golfing. He never met a stranger and enjoyed meeting at coffee shops and sharing tall tales with friends. He is survived by his sons, Christopher D. Shiverdecker, Levi K. Shiverdecker; stepson, Timothy A. Nokes; grandson, Christian Drake Shiverdecker; ex-wife, Gloria Idiaan (Assou), sisters, Susie Knuth (Gary), Kim Barnhill (Allen); brother, James Shiverdecker. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chanty M. Shiverdecker; parents and brother, Michael L. Shiverdecker. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all the nurses that helped care for Howard during the past ten years.
