Ms. Faye Smith Taylor

Funeral Service for Ms. Faye Smith Taylor, 73, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. Steve King will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home. Ms. Taylor passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at her residence. She was born on January 5, 1949 in Dadeville, Alabama to Albert Smith and Leona Boswell Smith. She was a member of Baypine Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor was a very simple lady that was happiest when she was taking care of others. She loved her family very much and was an amazing caretaker to her precious daughter, Michelle. She is survived by her daughter, Donna T. King (Steve) of Alexander City; son, Jeff Taylor of Alexander City; granddaughters, Hannah K. Canfield (Jackson) of Nashville and Elle King of Alexander City; sister, Joyce Patterson of Maryland; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Troy Taylor; daughter, Betty Michelle Taylor; brothers, Hayward Smith and Larry Smith; sisters, Inez Denham, Judy Smith, Merlin Blake, Willene Sims and Lavinia Kizziah.
