Miss DeLita "Dee Dee” Davis 1960 - 2020 Graveside Service for Miss DeLita "Dee Dee" Davis, 60, of Pine Level, Alabama will be Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Randy Anderson will officiate. Miss Davis passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Wetumpka Health and Rehab. She was born on August 30, 1960 in Montgomery County, Alabama to James Edward Davis and Nyoka B. Brown Creager. Dee Dee was born facing many challenges but that never stopped her from living a happy full life. Even though she was born legally blind, when on car trips with her family, she would recognize water by the sound of the bridge. She played with her stuffed animals and listened to the television and her favorite beverage was Coke and would ask for it by name. Anytime her brothers would irritate her she would give them her “mean left hook.” She is survived by her parents; sister, DeAnna Hartynuk; brothers, John C. Ashley, Jason K. Ashley (Catherine); nephew, Jason Van Keith Ashley (Taylor); great niece, Katrina Jade Ashley; aunt, Bonnie McGlaun and numerous cousins and family. All visitations and services will be held in compliance with the mandated rules from Alabama Dept of Public Health.
