Mrs. Addie Faye Baker

October 27, 1938 - June 13, 2022

Funeral Service for Mrs. Addie Faye Baker, 83, of Sylacauga, Alabama, will be Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Jeffrey McWhorter and Rev. Lenny Arnold will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. Mrs. Baker passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Coosa Valley Medical Center (Sylacauga). She was born on October 27, 1938, in Alexander City, Alabama to William Aron Gaither and Sudie Arlene Hughes Gaither. She was a long-time member of West End Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed trips to the beach with her sisters. In her later years she enjoyed playing games on her computer. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Pete (Lavonda) Baker of Sylacauga, Bobby Baker (Janet), Terry Baker (Lisa), and Danny Baker (Sherry); grandson, Zac Baker; sisters, Betty Davis and Pat Aldridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baker, Sr.; her parents; son, Ricky Baker; sister, Odessa Clayton; and brothers, Bill Gaither, Bruce Gaither, Marion Gaither, and Ronnie Gaither.
