Rudy Adkins
As a young girl, Marie and her family were our next door neighbors in Pepperell. They lived in house #4 and we lived in #6 beside them. Marie was about four years older than me and was hired to be my babysitter on a few occasions when she was a pre-teen. I remember her as being a very sweet and nice person. I haven't had the pleasure of knowing her much after that since I moved away from Alabama, but I'm glad to read that she had good life with a long marriage and a large family. I now live in Texas and only yesterday (1/11/20) heard of her passing from a mutual friend. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing and offer my sincerest condolences to her surviving family.
